ladies in their fifties? :)

at least they know GOOd looking men when the see 'em

wish I was there !

Be kind, those ladies buy the CD's, buy tickets to the shows, and are fans of the best band on the planet. Not all of their fans are supermodels.

Hey, that means there's hope for me!!

Where's Robby?

ahhh... so that's what a meet and greet looks like... nice.

But yes, Ladies in their fifties? Just... wow!

Kewl :) Do I Have To Wait Till I'm That Old To Get One Of Them Passes??? ;)

Yes....Ladies in their fifties....those of us who are approaching or have entered that realm..still know a good thing when they see and hear it....and remember that John, Robby and Mike are not "boys",,,,they're "men"....and "men" in their forties often times are gracious enough to let "women" in their fifties stand beside them....

This discussion should be in the forum section but I would like to discuss it right here...right now...bare with me...I have been thinking about some of the commets on this photo. I would like to hear from some of the other over 40 women,,,does it seem that some of the younger readers are being a bit hard on us? You know just because your exterior grows older doesn't mean that your mind and your thoughts are old too. Geez, I would think that you would be proud of us..that we haven't yet lost our edge...and that we still appreciate the young things in life. One thing that I would like to bring to everyone's attention...I looked in my local newspaper today...there were 23 obituaries. 16 of them were womenand none of them lived to be over 72...which means that middle age for them was 35 or so...keeping this in mind...these women in their forties or fifties in the photo would have to live to be 100 years old for them to be middle aged here at fifty. How many 100 year old people do you know? I don't know any and very seldom hear of them....anyway the point that I am trying to make is that many 40 and overs don't think any differently that they did when they were 20...I have to admit that i have just passed my fiftieth birthday last month and one of my most favorite things to do is to tell people how old I am because no one can believe it....I still weigh 110 lbs.,keep my haircut up tp date, nails done and I don't shop for clothes in the granny section...and I do know what looks ridiculous on me and what doesn't...and how old you are is just a state of mind...I don't feel over 30 and people tell me that I don't look a day over 40...I have to tell you that if I acted like I was fifty that I'm sure it would show...but I still like the young things in life and participate in those things and it seems to keep me young.
It also helps when younger people accept you and appreciate the fact that you are not just sitting in a chair rotting being someones grandmother. So all of you 20 somethings out there....cut us over forties a break...you will be right where we are someday and I'll bet that you are still interested in the same things that you are today...I'm not trying to rattle anyone's cage here...I'm just trying to point out that we're not dead yet just because we are middle aged....please accept us and appreciate us for loving life and staying young....comments please...

AMEN!!!!!GO GIRL!!!!

THANK YOU!!
