#10 makes me laugh. Yes, the lucky m&g'ers getting their one picture that will be posted online. It's funny if you read the rules for a m&g. It states that one picture will be taken only and be made available online. How come you can't take a picture of them?

km32592,I know that stinks that you can't take your own pictures at the meet & greet..I guess that guy in the black shirt thinks it's a "Secrurity Risk" to bring your own camera in...I understand, it's just so sad...We the fans only want creating memories for our photo album..Anyway have a good day....BlueDust

M&G winners... the guys are wonderful and understanding!... they've 'bent' some rules at some of the venues, when they could. :)

What is the security guy's name? i think he does sucha great job being a bad ass at the front of all the shows and his organization skills at the meet and greet were superb. bravo good sir, i would love to start a fan club.

willworkforgoo, I think someone told me that the guys name is mike... I dunno, someone told me that. I am going to the Springfield, IL show, the day after my b-day, I am hoping to meet them, but if not, it is still going to be a kick ass show and I will always love my Goos!!

Meet and greets have to be awkward. You know the band has to think they're annoying. I mean before every show you have to smile and take pictures with 15 different people and shake hands, kind of forced don't ya think? I mean when I heard Avril Lavigne say that she hates the fact that she has to do meet and greets because they're just weird, it makes you get the artists perspective of a meet and greet. As a fan we think they're great, but I'm not sure the bands feel the smae way!

Yeah, weird vs. fun involves the artist/mgmt/label/venue. Some shake hands, forget pics, and are outta there in under 2 min. Others have drinks, snacks, pics, and shoot the breeze w/the fans for an hour. So to Avril... life is what you make it, girl!! ;) lol!

I guess so but I think that "meet n greets" are definately or at least on the most part a management thing. And the artist just goes along with it, which then makes it an annoying job thing like sound check or something.
