Hi BlueDust, nothing exciting here today. But tomorrow I'm spending the entire day in San Francisco with my friend and his family! They invited me to a Giants game cuz I LOVE baseball so that'll be fun, plus we get to go shopping before the game! Baseball, shopping in SF, and an ENTIRE day out on the bay without my family. I can't wait! Anyways what's everyne else got planned for the weekend?

Hey BlueDust! I'm glad you're feeling better and that everything's workin' out well for you. Utah is BORING! I'm tellin' ya, the most exciting that ever happens here is when we have storms that throw out walnut sized hail! I get to take my test to get my Learner's Permit today. I'm kind of nervous because I haven't studied too much, but I think I'll be alright. Plus, I'll have my mom and my best friend there with me so I should be ok. I went shopping yesterday for school clothes, that was exciting. I got SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many things, I can't keep it all straight. Wow look at me ramblin', somebody SHUT.... ME.... UP!!!!! I hope everybody's day goes well. I'll talk to you ladies later tonight. Love you!

I am sooooo jealous gooangela! I haven't even taken Driver's ed! My mom is paranoid, she got into a really bad accident a couple years ago so she's really freaked out. sigh.. It looks like public transportation for the rest of my life. Actually that reminds me i need to do a bit more clothes shopping too... well good luck today!

I can't read this ... where is it from?

Thanks Missy. I'm excited about taking the test, but then again, IT'S A TEST! My mom is pretty paranoid about me driving as well, especially because I have to drive on the freeway to get to my school........ yeah, she's freakin' out about that. I've been taking public transportation for the past year and a half and I'm so f*ckin' sick of it! I hope you have some fun shopping and you get lots of cool ssshhhtuff. I'll talk to you later. Love you! (Hey ladies, where's 2394? Did she spend some time with the guys on their time off and not come back? Lucky girl! No but seriously, where is she?)

Yeah i've been wondering about 2394 too. You know she probably did hook up with the guys and didn't want to send us into a jealous frenzy. If not we might have to form a search party, and after we find her we'll head out to see the Goos since we'd be on that side of the country anyways.

What paper is this? I'd like to read it online if possible.
Enjoy your time in Chicago, see you tomorrow in Springfield.
Soooo nervous about the meet and greet, can't wait!!!!!!
Hope the rain holds off.
Safe Travels.

Yeah Missy, I think we still need to find that phonebook for Ontario huh? If she doesn't come back soon, she can't join us at the Buffalo show (or the IM concert) AND she won't be able to help us kidnap the guys........! LOL! Good times, but I hope she comes back soon.

Hey thanks LilacMay. I just read the article, I guess it's not too bad. Thanks again for posting the address to get to it, too bad the picture wasn't on there.

Hey gooangela and Missy, I wish I was on vacation with the guys, well more like with John, but that's another story! I am here just the site has been boring while they were away. My pre-sale tickets go on Monday at 3:00 p.m. I can't wait! I am listening to Gutterflower right now. It is dark here already with the days getting shorter. gooangela good luck with your driving test! Relax and concentrate on what your doing. I can't to meet you girls whenever the IM concert is. It would be cheaper for me if it is in Buffalo, but I would love to go to California. Now I am listening to Live in Buffalo, I love it. I will blog with you later!

Thank you for posting the link to the article!

2394 I'm so glad that you're back! I was getting worried about you again. Anyway I'm glad you're doing well and you're listening to our favorite guys, I am too! I can't wait to meet everybody as well, providing that the concert happens.... I took my test today for my Learner's Permite and I passed! I now have a piece of paper in my wallet the enables me to drive. That's a little intimidating..... Anyway I have to go. I'll talk to you ladies later. Love you!

Hi girls! How are you all? I am back from campimg. Well I did not get eaten by any lions, tigers or bears whoooo hoooo. We did alot we rode bikes, went fishing, rode horses which was alot of fun. My son wanted a fish so bad, we had a big one but he got away hook and all. I enjoyed watching him, 5 hours on the boat I was so sea sick!. Although being a vegan I was going to make him throw it back in. My daugther and I enjoyed horseback riding on a trail. My horse "Chilli" was a pain in the neck. He kept going off to the side to eat grass (they are not suppose too they can get bit by a snake and die) so I kept tring to keep him from eating grass so my arms and ass are so sore. But it is all good made the trail alittle longer. And yes, I roasted a marshmellow for all of you! :) I have missed you girls. Sounds like it was a rough begging of the week for some of you. But I am glad everything is alright. We always expect things to be worse than they are. Great news I am going to both concerts, I was only going to the Anahiem one. My husband is going with me to the LA show. It is 45 min away I am kind of scared to go by myself. He tells me he will go with me and protect me while I shake my ass, cuz people always are pushing him. He usually stands behind me and protects me he is tall. I hope they sign the contract soon. Well I have rambled enough I am glad to be home to blog with you girls. Well take care and talk to you soon Love ya, missed ya googirl1

Googirl1 I am so glad you're back. That's way awesome that you had a fun time camping. Sucks about the horse though, but it still sounds fun. I haven't been able to go camping this summer, but I would love to. Thanks for roasting a marshmellow for all of us ;)! That's sooooo cool that you get to go to both shows now. I'm excited! I get to meet so many people at the Anaheim show, including you! Anyway, yeah some of us had kind of a rough week, but we pulled through it alright. I would write a much longer message, but I really have to go make dinner now. I'm glad you're back though! Love you ladies!

Hey googirl1 I am glad you had good time! Horseback riding sounded fun, I have gone once. I am glad you didn't get eaten by anything except maybe mosquitos. I bet you are tired from your vacation, right? Doesn't sound right does it?

Ok I really have to go make dinner, but I have a question. For the pre-sale tickets, I know how to access it so that you can get the pre-sale tickets, but what do they mean when they say 3:00 PM LOCAL TIME? Does that mean 3:00 PM where I am, or 3:00 PM in New York or something (which would make it 1:00 PM here....)???? Anybody who knows, the answer would be much appreciated :D!

Hi ladies! First off congrats gooangela for getting your permit! You'll never believe it! My mom took me out to the back streets around our house and let me drive! I was only going 5 miles an hour and it felt so fast, I can't imagine going 25 and heaven forbid 60! Anyways i guess it won't be public transportation for the rest of my life. Anyways googirl1 your camping trip sounded fun, and I am very happy you didn't get eaten. I've never ridden a horse before, the closest thing I've gotten to that is riding the ponies at the Flea Market which may or may not have been donkeys. lol. I don't think I could fish, I'd feel so bad for the fish. Oh and gooangela I would check for the presale tix for Pacific time cuz the concert is in Anaheim, so it would be 5pm your time, I think, your only 2 hours ahead right? But to be safe I would check all 3 times. But Pacific time would make the most sense. Anyways i gotta pack for my dad's! Luv ya all!

GOO Press! Send some of that Buffalo way, will ya? We want some GOOey delights, too!

Here's the article off of the site:
Goo Goo Dolls bassist Robby Takac is listening to Gnarls Barkley while on the road touring with the Counting Crows this summer. Thanks in part to the ubiquitous single, "Crazy," the band's debut album, "St. Elsewhere," is on constant rotation. "This will be the summer of Gnarls Barkley for me without a question. That record seems to be stuck in my iPod," Takac says by phone from Pennsylvania. "I really dig that record, man. It's so amazingly kitschy."

And Takac knows a thing or two about earworms--those songs that stick in your head like an itch that can't be reached--as his band is responsible for putting a few out there over the past ten years. Mega hits like "Slide" and "Iris" transformed the Goo Goo Dolls from a band with an attractive lead singer and an eyebrow-raising moniker to a household name.

Crisscrossing the country promoting their eighth studio album, "Let Love In," the Goo Goo Dolls--Takac, lead singer John Rzeznik and drummer Mike Malinin--are aware of the double-edged sword that comes with each release. On one hand they are very thankful for their audience and the opportunities each success has brought them, but on the other it is hard to shake the perception that the band pumps out fluffy love songs perfect for romantic film tie-ins.

"A lot of times we get this knee-jerk reaction...that it's records full of love songs, when it's actually records full of incredibly cynical, jaded social perspectives," Takac says. "I think people, because they're not looking deep enough, don't necessarily see all the sides of the group because bands tend to be fairly one-dimensional these days. [Bands] find something they do and they do it well. And when that's not popular anymore, they go away and change their outfit."

Cynicism may not be the band's forte, but the single "Better Days" is evidence that their output is able to transcend the limitations of pop music. Originally intended to be a modern Christmas carol, the song's meaning metamorphosed when television news outlets began pairing it with images of Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.

"I always use `Better Days' as a pretty obvious example of probably what happens with every song you put out there," Takac says. "All of the sudden it took on this other life."

This is how most things look to Robbie without his glasses.

Wow! Great article. I wouldn't have guessed Robby would be into Gnarls Barkley
