Wow. I have first post! Yes! Not quite sure what this is though....In Nashville, I suppose...

interesting

Ernest Tubb was a country music/bluegrass singer. This particular store sells that type of music.

Yes, it's in Nashville.

Cool, I wouldn't mind seeing Nashville, maybe the guys could show me around. (:

wow guys thanks for the pic!! are you guys looking for some local talent?

sweet!

a flying guitar...

woooooooooooooh
Johnny will have a field day in there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very cool, very cool! It looks like it's going to snow or something because the sky is so white. Anyway, I love the big guitar on the sign, it's so awesome. Anytime I see a guitar or someone playing a guitar these days, my thoughts is always, "In December I will actually be able to see John Rzeznik playing the guitar!" Sorry, that was a tad random, but I'm extremely excited about it. Love to all!

gooangela, I got my tickets for the November show in Toronto. They are 6th row the side where John stands, ahhhhhh I am dying!! I could of got closer but this pop-up kept coming on and I wasn't sure what to do. Oh well, 6th row is pretty Goo'd!

Sith row 2394...That's preety good...I hope I'm just as lucky...

You are soooooooooooo freakin' lucky 2394! I can't buy my tickets through the IM because you're only allowed to buy two tickets per member and I have four people going so..... that kind of sucks, but if I get in there the first day the tickets go on sale to everybody then I bet I can still get some good seats. Hell, I'll just be happy to even be there in the same room as my favorite band. Plus, there's always a chance for a M&G. I know they rush through those really fast, but at least I'll still get to see them up close and personal and possibly even get hugs. No matter where I end up sitting I'll be happy. I am way excited for you though 2394, that's awesome! BlueDust I hope you get some really great seats as well. Maybe I could sneak up and stand by you at the show ;)!

goangela and 2394 I'm excited for you both! Hey 2394 just stand in front of the stage before the show starts and see if they let you stay, if not just slip 'em a twenty. Oh and gooangela I don't think I'll be able to get to the Anaheim show, it's the day before New Years Eve and my family will probably go gambling in Reno or somethin' now that my aunt's here, and my dad's being mean and stubborn and doesn't want to see the Goos again (he's crazy),the only options I have, are the ones that include taking the train to LA by myself and later being brutallly murdered by my parents but I'd rather not do that. It'd be worth it but I'd just rather not. lol. Oh well hopefully we'll have the IM concert.

Posting at the same time again! So confusing! (:

Well Missy that's too bad, that would have been way cool to meet you there. I get to meet BlueDust, googirl1, and possibly, just maybe, SeattleSiren. I wonder who else is going to be there.....? Hopefully we will have the IM concert because I'll definitely go to that, but I think most of us will be going to that. I think it's wise of you to not take the train down to LA. Being murdered by parents probably isn't too fun, but at least you would die happy because you just saw the GGD ;)! Love!

My thoughts exactly, plus if I keep annoying my dad about the Anaheim show he could give in (not likely) or break down and take me to see James Blunt in San Jose this Nov. Mmmm... James Blunt... I have a thing for sexy British guys who play the guitar AND the piano. lol. But he's not as hot as John and I'd rather see the Goos anyday. Hasta luego!

That would be really cool Missy if you got to see James Blunt, I like some of his music.

Ladies I am sitting here bawling my eyes out! Wanna know why? I just watched a 20 minute biography of John and it was so amazing. I mean I've known his story for a long time, but I've never actually heard him tell it, but now I have. I started crying soooooooooo hard. God he is so amazing! I think now that 'Iris' will always and forever be my favorite GGD song because without that song, who knows if John or the GGD would still be around? I didn't really realize until today how important that song is to John. I have a new found respect, which amazingly is a higher respect (which I didn't think was possible), for John and Robby. It was truly a beautiful thing to hear him tell about his life instead of reading about it.

Sorry that was probably lame. I just had to tell you ladies that by watching that, I have inspiration and hope. I would give anything to tell those guys how much they mean to me and what they've done for me. Love to all.

gooangela what did you watch? Thanks for the congrats on my tickets! I am so excited. It isn't until November 14 though, so it is a long time to wait. There are only 1046 tickets for this venue so I think it will be bought by Inner Machine members only.

Wait gooangela where did you see this? And don't worry it doesn't sound lame at all it's perfectly normal, people's experiences are always more moving when you actually hear them tell it themselves. And we all wish there was a way to tell them how much they have done for us, that's why we're part of the IM, to do anything we can to show them how much they mean to us and how their music and lives give us hope and strength to get us through our bad times and make the good times even better. Amor para todos!

Missy I will try to do what you said but I don't want to get kicked out. Thanks too for the congrats on my tickets. I am a little disapointed because I might of got closer if I knew what to do with the pop-up!

Thanks also to BlueDust, I hope you are lucky too!

Hey Missy and 2394! I can't remember where I saw those videos....... I was just browsing videos and I came upon them. I'll do my best to find out where I saw them and get back to you guys about it, I'm sure I'll find them again. Oh yeah you really have to watch them. John speaks a little Polish in them and he swears in Polish! It's so awesome! Anyway, I'll get back to you ladies a little later.

Hey 2394, great news about your tickets. So did you order them on IM site? 6th row are still great seats. Hey the boys can still make eye contact with you. Missy your safety comes first. I hope your parents wouldn't murder you, but then again like gooangela said at least you would have seen the GGD in concert.

Hey gooangela, I am so glad I get to meet you and Bluedust it is going to be so cool. The months are going to go by so fast. I hope we win a M&G. If not thats cool I met the GGDs in June so I can not complain. But I would still love to win again. That interview you saw with John I would love to see it. Pass the info this way girlie! gg1 :)

I forgot to comment on the picture my son would also have a feild day in that guitar store. I am tring to get him to learn Slide but I can't seem to get him off Blink 182. He is a huge fan.

Hey 2394 don't be disappointed because of the pop up thingy, for all you know it could have unleashed a devastating virus and shut down your computer, then you wouldn't have been able to get tix. And googirl1 my parents wouldn't murder me, they'd probably beat me past recognition or at least my mom would, then they would take away my music and the computer. I don't even need to tell you how bad that would be. At least your son likes Blink182 and not German Heavy Metal, that's got to be the scariest music I have ever listened to! lol. i have a few friends that listen to a band called Ramstein and it makes me want to laugh and run and hide at the same time. Much love!

googirl1 I did order them from the IM site. Very easy to order from and I knew where my seats were before I bought. I am listening to Let Love In right now!!

Hey 2394, I was under the impression that you did not know where you sitting until a couple weeks before the concert. I was not very happy with the ordering system on the IM site. My seats were terrible I could not see any of the props they put up for the concert(I was sitting in the corner) which sucked. I will still order through the site again I just hope I have much better seats. Hopefully they will tell me where I will be sitting as well. As they did to you. Well I am calling it a night Good night Goo pals have a peaceful night....ZZZZZzzzzz! gg1

Ernest Tubb's record shop...it's been serving country music fans for 59 years. Welcome to the South. The hospitality is great. It's a nice diversion from LA. You can take the girl out of the country...but you can never take the country out of the girl...sigh...

  • Damn it! I wish I would have knew they were going to be there I would have skipped work so I could just see them hanging out!

  • Good to know thanks 2394. Have a good night.

  • Actually 2394 I think it goes in as a Visa card but it still works as a debit card. I just typed in the card number and bought the tix. My dad trusts me and all but not quite enough to set me up with a credit card. But it's cool I have my own checks and everything and I have online banking it's a great way to learn how to budget money, and my dad doesn't live with me so he's able to transfer money for piano lessons and money for the movies and stuff. Well at least I know that i can get order concert tix in the library if I need to. (:

  • Missy that is way too funny! How did you buy them with your ATM card?

  • That's really cool 2394, I just got lucky with my tix I guess. Actually I bought them during English class, we had a research assignment so we went to the computer lab and I just pulled out my ATM and bought them my best friend was sitting next to me keeping an eye out for the teacher and cracking up at the same time. I thought they were going to catch me and take my tix away. It was great.

  • googirl1 they changed how the ticket system works because so many people were complaining that they got bad seats through IM. They switched companies and now you know where your seats are before you order. I think it's great!!

  • Wow the Holy Grail of Nashville, I bet they had a blast in there. Ernest Tubb is a legend.

  • I was there! Did you pick up any cool old vinyl?

  • Robby : Hey, let's check ou this record store.
    Mike : Yeah!
John : You think they'll let me play that huge guitar on the sign?
Robby : Are you kidding me? You can't even play a regular guitar.
    Mike : Yeah!
John : That does it, I've had it! I'm gonna pound you guys!
Robby : You gotta catch us first!
    Mike : Yeah!

They were last seen running all over the record store throwing CDs at each other.
