WoW!! I get the first comment.
This looks very interesting,
men from the Civil War.
I love the postings of all the statues and such, there are so many cool things in our country to see!!!
Thanks for sharing.

this looks interesting...this is one of those pics that makes me wish they could post captions along with the pictures..

I think Mike shot this picture since he's a history nut...I love the statue Mike, the details are magnificent...Thank you for sharing this picture with us...Hugs and Kisses BlueDust

Hey Crazy4Goo girl - I think we are the posts that go with the picture. (lol) I love that they're sharing all these pictures with us too!! Thanks guys!!

This is where Mike went between eating and running. He must have a busy life : eating, running, eating, playing with train sets, eating, coloring, running, playing drums every night....Love ya, Mikey!

Cool, Mike probably did take this pic. Where is this?

BlueDust, gooangela, googirl1 and Missy check this out, I was just on the forum and read that Tomi Swick is opening for the GGD's on the Canadian leg of the tour and no I am not kidding, I dated his brother George for 2 years when I was 16. I knew Tomi when he was little and he used to say he was going to be a singer!

Hey 2394, I've never heard of Tomi Swick, but that's really cool. I can't even imagine what it'd be like to open up for the GGD. What a small world it is. (: Well have a good day! I should really start on my chores before my mom gets home for lunch.

Hey Missy, It is a small world. I might phone his brother today and tell him I am going to see Tomi open for the Goo's. He is Canadian and new to the music scene and he is from Hamilton, Ontario where I grew up!

What a small world!

Wow, is Tennessee the only state with statues of the presidents from there?

I really think it's awesome that the guys share these pictures with us. This picture is pretty cool too. For some reason, I love the look of buildings like the white house and the state capitol buildings, and this picture reminds me of those...... wonder why? ;)! Anyway, very cool pic! (Hi ladies! 2394, that's cool about the Tomi Swick guy. I hope he has fun opening for the guys. Um.... if you ladies haven't already listened to that interview on icebergradio.com, you really should. It's kind of depressing to hear some of the things John says about himself and the band, but it's still a good interview (And I want to add to the record, in case the guys ever see this, that I always, truly listen to a song and to the lyrics. Just thought I'd add that....). I have homework so I'll talk to you ladies tomorrow. Love!)

Hey gooangela I hope school went well today. And I did listen to the interview and the one thing that got me REALLY mad was that John said that the record company thought Gutterflower was "a monumental failure". I'd like to give them a piece of my mind and fist for those insulting thoughts! (the record company not the guys) That album means so much to me that I wouldn't give a damn if the entire music industry scorned it and it only sold 1 copy! And if the guys ever read this comment I want you to know that like gooangela I always truly listen to your songs and the words and look for something more than the beat and rhythm. Well I've gotta finish the last 50pgs of Grapes of Wrath so I'll talk you ladies later. Hope your day has been good!

Missy, I think... I could be wrong... that the record sompany thought it was a huge failure because of the low sales... I think John said that it was due to people "sharing" music... he said that they did not make one penny off of album sales...

Great photo. Thanks for sharing the history items. What a great country we live in!

Hey 2394, isn't that so ironic? As Missy says it is a small world. So now maybe Tomi will take you back stage to meet the GGD that would be too cool. I think it is very awesome that Tomi said as a child that he wanted to be a singer/artist goes to show you dreams to come true. Not to mention they are opening for the hottest band around. Very cool news :) gg1

googirl1 I talked to his brother my ex, on the phone tonight for an hour and I probably could of gotten free tickets instead of paying $140.00,oh well I didn't know. We'll see about the backstage situation. Maybe I'll get lucky!!

Now 2394 I couldn't help but ask, but when you say you might "get lucky" you did mean the non perverted way right? But of course anyone would hope for the other meaning if you did somehow wind up backstage locked in a room with John on a cold November night in Toronto. ^_^ Happy thoughts!

Hey 2394, that is a bummer same thing happen to me when I bought my tickets through IM. Then I won 2 tickets on the radio to M&G the band at a wine tasting. So I was out $150. O well. My hubby gave me a hard time about it. Hey at least you have great seats. So it's all good. Have a nice night! gg1
PS. I hope you get lucky too save some for me, Bluedust, & Gooangela they are coming to California in December. Nighty, night.

cool!!!!!!!!!!

I love history! Thanks for the mini historical tour along the way! Crzy4goo, it does look Civil War era, doesn't it? The bloodiest battle in our nation's history in the shortest period of time-like nine days I think!

Missy thanks for the wonderful image!! Oh YEAH!! That would be my wildest dream come true! I meant about going backstage with Tomi and meeting them! That would be incredible and the other well you all know, hehe

Mike : Hey, that looks like us!
John : Well then I must be the guy on the horse.
Robby : More like you're the horses end.
Mike : Yeah!
Korel : So that means I'm sitting down?
Brad : And me too?
Robby : Don't push it newbies!
Mike : Yeah!
