Holy crap!!! That looks just like the weather we had earlier this week in Norfolk. I hope you guys can stay dry!
I hope everyone is safe...I heard the weather is bad in Chi-town.
I hope it passes over for the show. It doesn't look too good.
Oooh, looks a bit nasty. Hope all went well that day/night.
That looks like the Philly skyscape last week at Hippiefest! I knew I should have taken a photo~it looked so cool with the mirrored skyscrapers; vey surreal and artsy; Robby you would have loved it!
I hope this shit stops soon. The lightening is pretty bad right now.
Stay safe and warm!
I just heard they cancelled the show and it will be rescheduled...
OK...so the prayers for no rain ended up turning into prayers for everyone's safety. (Although the lightning display over Lake Michigan was pretty phenomenal!) Thanks for making the decision to cancel, and even more thanks for deciding to return next week!!! Look on the bright side...a return trip to our
beautiful, friendly Chicago isn't so bad after all (weather permitting!)!!! See you then!
oh dear....be safe...storms a brewin'
Yup- it even looked worse then this later on...
what a cloudy day!
Man that looks like a b*^#h. And by the show being moved to monday it must of been
Watched the first round of storms from the 18th floor of Hilton. Looked like you guys were going to get blowed away. Glad you stayed safe. Sorry I won't be able to make it back on Monday. Do you want to swing by my place and say "HI"?
This is actually a really sweet picture. The stadium to the very left of the picture is Soldier Field (where the Chicago Bears play).. for those of you not too familiar with Chicago :)
those are some freaky looking clouds! Glad you guys stayed safe!
Prayers go out to the crew member who got hit with debris..I hope he/she is alright...
And the rest of ya - rock, rock on...
I've lived in the Chicago area my entire life, and this was one of the worst storms I've ever seen.
The rain was blowing sideways, and there was an incredible amount of lightening.
We had to seek shelter under a small area by the concession stands, with lots of metal all around us and we were very close to the lake.
It was very scary!!!!!!!!
Hope everyone made it home safe and sound.
Monday should be incredible!!!
I am so looking forward to Monday now that this scary stuff has past. The weather is expected to be GOOd, finally.
