What a great old city filled with culture and great food! I was there in April of 2005 before Katrina hit with a vengeance. Hope the boys post some clips and pics of the show. Cheers!

Oh YAY!!!! I'm glad they made it safely to New Orleans! I know girlintx, I hope I can catch the performance on TV. I'm going to have to run like crazy to and from the train though. I hope I can do it. Anyway, THE DATE IS CONFIRMED FOR THE ANAHEIM SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think today is the best day of my ENTIRE life! Of course the best day will be when I am actually standing right in front of John and/or Robby watching them perform "Here Is Gone"! I hope they perform that at the concert........ anyway, have fun in New Orleans guys!

An honor you said in your blog. It is ..But, it's no wonder, you guys, that they want you there for this--with all you do. You guys are so special - know that.
We can't wait to see you sing your hearts out to the people there that had gone through so much. New Orleans is a strong city & the people there & their culture will live on.
So proud to see the "best band in the world" through our eyes - "your fans" - get to see you provide your voice to the people in the Big Easy on a day of hope & of things to come for everyone there.

I will be there with you guys in spirit and will be watching on ESPN tonight! Blinsky-you may have to look it up in your local listings for the right time and channel. They will be playing Better Days- the anthem for the Katrina survivors who are still trying to put their lives back together. I'm very emotional right now because I LOVE them! I should be there!

It's on 7pm tonight(in my area -I'm in NJ)-
I went on the ESPN website(as some of you mentioned to do --thanks!)& it's gonna be a big event...
U-2 & Green Day will be there also.
This is an emotional moment for us Goo fans & such an honor for "our guys" to be there for this event.
I told my husband that they're going to be there tonight & he thought that was pretty cool.
Again, as I said above -
you guys are so "special" with all you do & to do a free concert-shows everyone who you are & why your fans love you so much & how much you care for the people that went through so much with Huricane Katrina & continue to do so.
Your song "Better Days" is gonna be so emotional for so many of us & all others to hear at the Superdome tonight.
I'm so looking forward to it - I know alot of tears will be shed by us IM members tonight.
