I so badly want to be in crowd that knows all the words and jumps around like a nut. why doesn't everyone in the US do that? arg!! that decides it, i need to see the goos across the pond.

Seeing all of these pictures just gets me more and more excited about NYE!!!

The fans in the front do seem really close to the stage! I hope the next time I get to see the GGD's I'm even closer! Some years ago when I used to go to concerts (other artists at that time) I remember people going wild and charging the stage to get a hug and a kiss from the band members. Do people still do stuff like that now, or is security so tight that you'd never make it to the stage?

Oh and by the way it's just a general question, I wouldn't plan on trying something like that. I wouldn't dream of being kicked out of a concert before it's over!

I've crashed the stage at a show before, not a GGD show. I landed on my knee that I'd injured the night before so I wasn't quick standing up and by then I was tackled by security and thrown out of the venue. It was awesome! All my friends told me afterward, I saw you get hauled off!

Willworkforgoo--
Two of the three shows I went to this summer were like that,
jumping and singing and all!!!
The last show I went to at the IL State Fair-yes the famous food on a stick venue-
I kept getting yelled at for standing and getting into the show!!!!
So everyone next to and in front of me stood up to protest all the people sitting.

jmt928-
I don't think ANYONE would get past security Mike!!!!
He reminds me of a very tough marine!!!

cagediva- I give you credit for the attempt! It must be awesome to be able to tell people that story!
crzy4goo- any chance security Mike could be bribed to look the other way for a millisecond?

jmt928-
I would try it-but I'll tell you he walked with us at the meet and greet in Springfield,
I tried to strike up a conversation with him, but he was all business.
I guess he really has to be-he's there to protect the guys!!!!!

I waould hate to be the person who had to climb up there to take this picture....I'm scared of heights.

John : You put you're left foot in, you take your left foot out, you do the hokey pokey and you shake yourself about.
Robby : Yeah, but if you shake more than twice, you're playin' with it.
Brad : Does that mean Mike is playing with it?
Robby : He's been known to do that from time to time.
Mike : I do not! I never play with food.
Robby : Mike, we're not talking about food here.
Mike : Why not? Food rules!
John : We need to set you up with Rachel Ray so you'll be in Heaven the rest of your life.
Mike : Cool! She's hot!
Robby : We can't do that!
John : Why not?
Robby : I have a crush on her and I wouldn't want to do that to her.
John : Well, you're married and Mike would be perfect for her. Rachel loves music and Mike loves food. It would be the perfect balance.
Robby : Ya think?
John : Yeah! Besides, if they hook up, we can take her on the road and have her cook us some of those jamin' 30 minute meals.
Robby : Whoa! That would be cool! Where's our road manager?

Anybody noticed, if you have the new 'let love in' album, that in one song... I think it's 'feel the silence'... John sings ' When you're fighting the current, you forget how to live'. It actually sounds like 'when you're fighting the cunt, you forget how to live...' Hehehehehe!!!!!!!

No, I never thought he said that ugly C word on Feel the Silence!!!!!

Ahhhhh!!!! I so want to be there right now!

I don't think he'd ever say it that C word in a song...I mean,It's John! Come on! It's just, there are so many songs from different albums, where he sings something, and I think I hear something else. I have a whole list of examples. No.1:, my brother, when he hear Iris for the first time he thought John sang:' and all i can taste is insomnia, and all i can breathe is a lie.'
No.2: Many people thought that in 'better days' he sang: 'and the doggie box is wrapped in strings. I desire to love the empty things...'
Or No.3: my personal favourie, 'Big machine'. There have been many people who misheard the same thing. Like Loving sucks in loneliness, or having sex in loneliness, or heaven, sex and loneliness, when he actually sang something different. I find it funny. I love Goo!
