    Hello again... Mike here. Spent another great day off in Iowa yesterday! Thanks to the wonderful world of rental cars, I was able to stumble upon many grand sites, such as John Wayne's birthplace in the quaint city of Winterset.




    What else is in (and around) Winterset? Why, the bridges of Madison County, of course!



    I had the pleasure of visiting all six remaining bridges and it was cool. Here are photos of Hogback and Roseman bridges.





    Last, but not least, an unexpected site: whilst wandering around a deeply-wooded area in the Iowa countryside, we found a mysterious castle. Go figure.
