Goo Goo Dolls will be making a welcome return to the UK in October. In their first visit since 2010, the band has just announced a string of dates kicking off in Nottingham on 15th October 2013. Tickets go on sale on Friday 31st May at 9am via www.gigsandtours.com/tour/GOO-GOO-DOLLS.
The band are set to release their tenth album ‘Magnetic’ on June 10th, (“Every chorus sticks like glue” Q) a collection of 11 new songs which John Rzeznik, Robby Takac and drummer Mike Malinin - a lineup steady since 1995 - recorded with Gregg Wattenberg (Train), Rob Cavallo (Green Day), John Shanks (Bon Jovi) and Greg Wells (Katy Perry). From the celebratory single “Rebel Beat” to the love-rediscovery ballad “Slow It Down,” the blue-collar anthem “Keep the Car Running” to the meltingly romantic “Come to Me,” Magnetic is an album bursting with a spirit of renewal.

Hey there, heathergoo - I'm just a fellow fan (not an official moderator or anything), but I saw your question so I thought I'd try to find the answer; if you click on the "gigsandtours" link posted above, it takes you to a page that shows the Apollo Hammersmith date as "Fri, 25 Oct 2013."
