hi everybody, today we're shooting the video for "better days" with the director noble jones. The concept is pretty interesting, we are lighting up a forest at night like a rock concert. it seems like it will be pretty amazing looking but you never know until you see the finished product. it's always an expensive crap shoot and what you shoot may look like crap... but i think we're in good hands.



making a video is a slow process and can be really boring, but i'm happy after all this time we still get to do this. i'd like to thank everybody for the great response to better days. the song is doing great. it really felt like an iris moment when it sort of fell out of the sky and into my lap.



meanwhile cnn has been using the song as the music for the hurricane katrina relief campaign. please keep helping, the need seems to be endless, and its heartbreaking to think about the holidays coming up for all the displaced people. they really need our love and support.



meanwhile, we are almost finished with our new album. singing and writing lyrics which i "love" doing. that was sarcastic. but it's going great and i cant wait to get back out and see you all again.
