Stay With You Video Shoot

Today was amazing. We shot the video for our new single, "Stay With You". Surprisingly enough, all we did was make a video of a great performance by our band. As you can probably tell from our previous videos, we're not actors. What we know how to do is play our music. And even though we were lipsyncing playing our music (only in the videos - we do actually play live)... the director, Paul Brown, was really amazing to work with. Everything went incredibly smooth, what he really wanted to capture was what the band was all about ... which is incredibly rare with video directors. Most of the time they want to take a picture of what's behind you and use you as a prop. So we set up on a soundstage at the Sunset Gower studios, put up some lights and a video screen and played our asses off. I actually had a really good time doing this. My current mindset is worrying me because I feel so good about everything that's going on. In the past, I've purposely done my best not to enjoy the amazing things that are going on in and around my life. I thought it was the pragmatic thing to do, because I never wanted to be disappointed if it didn't work out. But no matter what the outcome, I feel really great about what we did tonight. I hope that you enjoy it, too.

    Love,

    John
