Just in case anybody is wondering about the history of April Fool's Day, check this out:

It'll just confuse you, since nobody seems to be able to agree in the general debate, but it'll give you something to ponder while you're bored at work.
Anyway, we've been spending a lot of time in the studio in Buffalo.
I've been having fun trying out a bunch of different snare drums,
cymbals, and other such drum geek stuff. We are still in the process
of going through musical ideas, and just generally putting a bunch of
things on tape (or more specifically, hard drive). Not a lot of new
info to report on this front.
And so, once you are done reading up on April Fool's day, here is
a list of five songs that I got on iTunes that have been in heavy
rotation on my iPod:
1) The Embarrassment - Careen
2) Big Dipper - Loch Ness Monster
3) PJ Harvey - The Devil
4) Jenny Lewis & The Watson Twins - Rise Up With Fists
5) Death Cab For Cutie - Brothers On A Hotel Bed
