Only4her... i'm supporting you 100 percent man...my dad faught and Vietnam and after he protested and still does with everything that has to do with this war...we support the troops although may say we dont...because they do so many great things everyday...but too many die way too young...I don't support a President that goes to war...ruins everything previous presidents have done for us with allies and with our trust with other world leaders and in the end doesn't know a thing about war himself. I am registered to vote and I voted..and almost cried the next morning when I found out that bastard was still president. Good luck to you man...I'm glad you're home, best wishes and thoughts to you.
Let Freedom Reign-that's what America represents. Try speaking out against a leader in any country other than our own! The Dixie Chicks were beat up for it in terms of concert and album sales but didn't face the firing squad! Before you point fingers think about that. Its' so easy to say what's wrong. We need leaders to direct the country in what is right. From the grass roots level in our own communities. So who wants to run for office? Everybody is so wrapped up in nonsense like the lives of celebrities that no one really cares what is going on. I agree-get out and rock the vote!
Well, I served in the Marines for 6 years and respect is something you earned. Like a boot lieutenant with a map, this guy is a nightmare.
Now that I am not in the military, I have no need to respect his rank and as a civilian, I am in no way under orders to respect the man who has turned the world on its head. We are a country that was founded by speaking out against its leaders and that very speech is what many died for and I served for. It's also the only way our leaders seem to be able to want to make any changes.
Have you ever heard of McCarthyism or the Red Scare? Well, it was a time where anyone who spoke out against what was happening or believed different were accused of being communists. Just as people who spoke out against the President and Iraq early on were called traitors. But it turned out the real traitor was the one who lied to us about everything. Not just one thing mind you, but everyting.
A person who does not tell the truth deserves no respect.
You can like him all you like, that's your right and that's what this country is about, but you also have to realize that speaking out against an administration and its failures is my right as well.
There are always different sides to the coin and I respect that but for far too long our country has been silent about far too many things and now we are paying the price. It's not just this President, but the whole lot of them in Congress too. The only way to change things is to voice your opinion and get out there and vote.
So I urge everyone to register and vote this November! It's your civic duty to do so because things will never get fixed sitting home on the couch. We all know there are problems in the world today and it's time we started fixing them.
Here is a very smart man on the situation...

Peace!
The military has a saying. Something my Dad taught me. "You may not like the man but, you always respect the rank." Have you guys every heard this before? Despite differences...we have a President...that we elected. The outcome isn't always what we want but, hey...it beats the heck out of living in country where you have no choice / voice. We do have a right to voice our opinions and thank God we live in a country where we can. Despite who the President is...he is the Commander in Chief...the man that commands that troops that fight to give/keep the freedom for each of us to voice our opinions. Some individuals are more eloquent than others when writing their thoughts / opinions.
Respect is something that is earned, not given.

Robby : I wonder if the President is home?
Mike : Let's go see.
John : You guys better not!
Robby : Man, you're no fun anymore. You act like an old man.
Mike : Yeah!
John : There are snipers all over the place and you want to go and play games.
Robby : He just accepted a visit from some guy pulling a trailer so I know he'll see me.
John : No way! You're trouble waiting to happen and the security will never let you in.
Robby : Oh yeah?
John : Yeah!
Robby : Well, well see about that! Come one Mike!
Mike : Yeah! Later dad!
John : Lord help me!A few minutes later, Mike and Robby were heading into the White House.
John : Holy poop! They got in! Can you believe that?
Korel : No.
Brad : Bet he gets tossed out in 5 minutes.
Korel : I'll take that bet because I think it will be less.
John : You ain't kiddin'!A few hours go by and finally Mike and Robby come out.
John : So did you get to see him?
Robby : Sure did.
Mike : Yeah.
John : What did he say?
Robby : He said you suck at playing the guitar and that me and Mike are cool.
Mike : Yeah.
John : He did not!
Robby : Yes he did.
John : What did you do in there?
Robby : Well, we talked about world peace over some Pez. He never really said much and just kept nodding his head. Even when Mike asked if he could use his bathroom and we all know what Mike can do to a bathroom.
John : No way! He didn't stink up the place did he?
Robby : He sure did!
Mike (chuckling) : Yeah!
John : Then what?
Robby : Well, we sort of had to leave the area then and we had lunch. I kept bugging him about the things I thought he was doing wrong like the wire taps and the high gas prices.
John : And what did he say?
Robby : He just kept nodding his head and asking for more Pez. In fact, the way he nodded his head reminded me of a Pez.
John : What doesn't remind you of Pez! Anything else?
Robby : Yeah, he invited us back but we told him we were too busy. Then on our way out, I thanked him for seeing us and called him Mr. Pezident.
John : You didn't!
Robby : Did too!
Mike : Yeah!
John : You're so lucky man.
Robby : Hey Mike, you wanna go back and ring his doorbell and run?
Mike : Yeah!
John : This I have to see!Mike and Robby were last seen running across the White House lawn being chased by the Secret Service as Bush was yelling from the front door, "Get those evil doers and be sure to bring their Pez to me when you catch them!"

Terigoo, I agree with you. No disrespects intended.

TerriGoo, Only4 Her and TheresaAnn - I love your posts.
Ok, I love the history and all of the White House - it is a beautiful building, but......the idiot that is currently in residence makes me not even want to see a pic of that place right now!
Hmmm wonder if he's home..or on vacation? I'm sorry I know, stupid question...or course he's on vacation! ;)
