Before my accident four years ago I use to be able to control my emotions...No matter what was going on in my life at the time... I was able to hold back those tears and turn the other cheek...Now it seems I turned into this big ball of tears... I hate this side of me...I'm not saying it's wrong to cry, cuz sometimes it could be very healthy tooo cry, but crying too much is not healthy... I want my old self back....I hate the fact that this accident took some much of my personality away from me...I have become a very quite person.... I don't know if that's a good thing... BlueDust I have something to say in reference to your comment #44. I can relate a lot to how you want your old self back. I haven't been through a horrible accident or anything, but I went through a year of high school, which I was not ready for. I used to be happy and I could smile at anything, but now I'm angry and depressed and I have been for a long time. I try to get over it, but nothing ever comes of me trying. I agree with you that it's not healthy to cry a lot, but I do. I try not to, but I do. Anyway, I think that's all I had to say. Wait, one more thing......... I know that you may want the old you back, but look at who all of us on here have grown to love....... the new you who, to us in here, is the only you we've ever known and we still love you to death. I'm not saying we wouldn't love the old you, too, but we still love you with who you are now.

Oh my BlueDust, I can totally relate with the whole friend thing. I've recently gone through something pretty similar with someone who I thought was my friend. I mean, she was my friend and stuff like that, but apparently (according to her) we both went through changes and didn't go through them together and we didn't come out of our changes and still able to be friends with one another. I think it's so stupid because friends go through changes. That's part of life and that's part of relationships, any kind of relationship. Now she's just started ignoring me and being a total bitch towards me, but acting like she isn't. When I try to confront her about it she just acts completely retarded and stupid about it. Part of me so wants to be a bitch right back to her, but I know that I'm better than that and I know that if I start acting like that towards her, not only will it create more problems, but I'm sure she'll receive some kind of satisfaction by knowing she pushed my buttons. I don't think you should be mean to your friend. Just let things blow over. If she (or he) continues to act the way they are, but they realize that they're not getting a rise out of you then they'll stop and things will be left at that. Just continue to be the beautiful and wonderful person that you are (inside and out) and everything will be great for you.

Angela (52) our friend, I think, may be starting to feel the pain of the last year. We all know she didn't let herself feel the grief while it was happening. She's being a bitch, everyone can see that. Hang around friends who care. (the two guys who've been around the past year, for example) She knows that what she's doing is getting to you, but keep doing as you're doing and don't let her get to you too much. She'll (hopefully) come around in a bit.

Oh my! I've missed so much! First off Twilight I know you want to hold back your tears, I do it very well but it's NOT good to do. See even if you hold back the tears they will come out eventually so just let tem flow. BlueDust Iknow what you mean aboiut the accident, my mom was in a horrible one, she was hit head on at 80 mph by 4 teenage boys, luckily she stopped and she was in the van so she got out of it with a couple broken toes and major brusing, but 2 of the boys died, the other 2 lived but broke nearly every bone in their bodies, and it was just really horrible. She's so scarred now even though it's been 4 years, she still is afraid. And as for your "friend" situation you can't give in to the anger, because slowly but surely it will destroy you and everything you care for. gooangela I know EXACTLY how you feel. I wasn't ready for my frosh year either, I took the hard classes and played 3 sports w/NO break between and it was absolute HELL. I just wanted to give in and be one of those stupid people who didn't have to worry about morals or going to college, but in the end i just couldn't do it. Then I went into my Soph year and did the EXACT SAME THING! I just got so stressed and fed up with all the shit, I nearly didn't make it through the last semester, the ONLY @ things that kept me going was the LLI release, I counted down for a month on my chalkboard, & then my concert. I ended up passing Algebra 2 with a 70.1%. Now I decided I'm not going to play sports and it's gotten a litle less stressful. But babe I know how you feel and I wish I could tell you in person so I could help you get through it. But ya know, no matter how bad my day has been, no matter what test I fail, it feels so good to know that I have all you wonderful ladies to talk to. Well, I have to eat so I'll comment on the big breasted monkey later. Don't stress ladies I know that we'll ALL find "Better Days".

oh, god Missy will you give your mom a big hug for me...I'm so sorry your mom had to go through all of that...Tell her everything will be all right, it just takes time to heal...My accident happened April 29,02 2:15pm....I know what your mom is going throught, cuz I'm right there with her..It's taking me a long time to work through my fears, but there are days where that fear is over powering...My cofidence level is shot too, but it's slowly coming back....At a snails pace... When ever your mom is feeling this way,tell her to write her feelings down in a journal...Writing in my feeling down in a has helped me through rough times...Also if she doesn't excerise(get her to work out) have her do aerobics(low impact)even if you have to work out with her....Get her moving, in time she will start feeling better and the fear won't be has intense as it is now....Give my love to your mom..luv ya toooo...Have a great night....BlueDust
